The Stat Attack : Preston North End

On Sunday QPR make the long journey to Lancashire to take on Preston for the 14th league encounter between the two clubs at Deepdale since the first match back on the 14th September 1949 when hosts secured a 3-2 victory. It is a long time since we celebrated a Rangers away win, which was coincidentally also in the North West when we triumphed 3-0 at nearby Blackpool back in January. Preston go into this game buoyed by scoring 6 in their last home game against Cardiff and knowing that 3 points may well see them sneak into a play off berth..

FORECAST
Preston will be expected to be really up for this game whilst Rangers minds will be elsewhere judging by the performance against Plymouth. Add to this strong home form of Preston and our poor form away from home coupled with an inability to score this must surely be the home banker of the day. Goals either side of half time will secure the win Preston will be seeking.
