Queens Park Rangers fans want to see Luigi De Canio return to Loftus Road following the result of a recent poll.

QPR supporters will remember De Canio fondly during his brief tenure for his exciting brand of passing football as he endeared himself to the crowd towards the end of the 2007-08 season.

His move back to Italy came as quite a surprise to Rangers fans and board members alike, with Flavio Briatore disappointed about De Canio`s need to return to Italy and resolve personal issues.

Of the list of potential candidates put forward Gigi was the clear favourite taking 34% of the overall vote.

The top three were as follows:

1. Luigi De Canio - 34%
2. Alan Curbishly - 28%
3. Paul Jewell - 8%

Now we ask a new poll question:

How do you rate the 2008/09 season?

We had a lot of late set-backs, but boy were there some memories. More memories in that brief spell than the whole of this season I'd say...
