Rangers Target Tottenham Winger

Reports today (Thursday) suggest that Queens Park Rangers are seeking a replacement for injured winger Lee Cook.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Danny Rose is a target for Queens Park Rangers according to The Mirror today in order to give Lee Cook a satisfactory recuperation period from a knee operation.

"Doesn't make much sense. The lad is less experienced than Ephraim, Balanta and only a tad more than our own Rose."
toboboly

Cook spent the majority of last season with a niggling knee injury picked up while training with neighbours Fulham.

Spurs secured the signature of the young talent Rose for a fee believed to be around £1m from Leeds United in 2007.

The 18-year-old has spent the last two years in the youth system at White Hart Lane, but managed to get a brief loan spell in the Championship at Watford at the back end of last season.

What have you seen of Danny? Would you sign him?

no way we'd sell him!! the best you'd get is a loan thats for certain!

spurs first team coming up guys,to get a loan it would need to be sorted quick or else spurs might need him because there does not seem to be any good left footers out there to sign for the first team as they are like gold in a coal mine.

Rose is a top young player as he showed for the U21's on Monday, granted against ***** opposition but he showed that he can do it at that level with other youngsters currently plying their trade in the top flight. Expect Rose to be shipped out on loan with Obika and Townsend this season. Remember not all kids are ready for the next level at 18. Spurs won't outright sell him to anyone (including QPR) but I think best case scenario (for Rangers) is loan with an option to buy with a HUGE sell-on fee

I think the loan is what's being targeted.. Cook should be back by October time. Having heard what Watford fans are saying about Rose I'm not sure this is a wise move.

Who gives a ***** what Watford fans are saying the ignorant ****s can barely string a sentence together, this kid is the dogs nuts get him in on loan and see for yourself.

We all thought Taarabt was a quality player until we realised that he doesn't pick his head up and look for a team-mate. I think we ourselves have a rising star in Ephraim who is more experienced as toboboly has said, I don't see how more prospective talent/little substance will help us?
Boxer
If this geezer's anything like Taarabt then he should be shipped off to play in Mongolia or something instead.
