Gorman Honoured By QPR Role
John Gorman was delighted following his appointment as Jim Magilton`s assistant manager today (Monday).
Speaking to QPR.co.uk the former England coach told of pride at being appointed Magilton`s number two as the pair look to live up to lofty expectations.
He said: 'I am honoured at being given this exciting opportunity and I thank the Club's management for choosing me.
'QPR has plenty of history and a big following. I know most of the players and have great respect for them. I rate them highly and look forward to working with such good players.
'The expectations are high and I will do my very best to meet them, assisting Jim and working hard to have our best shot at getting the Club promoted.'
He penned a two year deal with Queens Park Rangers after being shown around the facilities at Loftus Road last week.
