López To Swansea?

Agent of Jordi López, Alex Bonnot, has said that he has yet to receive an offer for the player to link up with Paulo Sousa at Swansea.

López`s chances of returning to Loftus Road were dealt a blow recently when former QPR midfielder and agent Alex Bonnot revealed that negotiations had stalled.

Since then rumours that Sousa was about to take the helm at the Liberty Stadium along with his entourage has linked the Spaniard with his former boss.

However Bonnot has told the BBC that no offer from Sousa has been forthcoming: 'No contact has been made from Swansea," he said.

'There was a good relationship when Jordi and Paulo were at QPR. Jordi very much liked working with him.

'If Paulo is still happy to work with Jordi, he will come back to us. I want to let him do what he wants to do.'

Sousa officially took the post in Swansea today replacing outgoing boss Roberto Martinez and the former Real Madrid and Barcelona midfielder, López, could be his first signing as he heads into his first Championship pre-season.
