Thomas Signs On

He follows Stefan Bailey and Scott Donnelly to put pen to paper as Gary Waddock looks to keep all his brightest young stars.

The 18-year old keeper was on the bench for a couple of first team fixtures this season and Waddock has already expressed his interest in giving youth a chance before the end of the season.

Thomas spoke to the QPR official website after signing, saying:

'Queens Park Rangers are a massive club, with great support and to be given a professional contract is amazing.

'I found out at the beginning of the season that I was going to be offered a one year deal and I've worked my socks off since then and thankfully I've been rewarded with a two year contract.'

Nice to see we do have some young players who seem to have the potential. Scotty D, Stefan Bailey, Thomas and Shabazz, let's hope they blossom.

Good luck to you. Unless you have mega bucks, the way forward is youth.
