Akos Buzsaky will make his long-awaited return from injury this weekend a he plays a part in the Aldershot fixture.

The Magical Magyar has been out since November 2008 when he injured his anterior cruciate ligaments in the 1-0 defeat against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Since then both he and Martin Rowlands have been on the road to recovery from a similar injury, with Rowlands suffering his injury a few months later against Derby County at Pride Park.

It has been announced the Akos will play 45 minutes of the fixture against Aldershot this weekend, along with Patrick Agyemang and Rowan Vine both set to play a part following full recovery from their respective injuries.

The R`s will be without Martin Rowlands, who hopes to be back for the trip to face NK Celje, while the club have finally acknowledged that Lee Cook is sidelined with a knee injury.

Damion Stewart is unavailable, but may well be ready to join up with the squad sooner than he initially thought after his country`s disastrous Gold Cup showing.

Record capture Alejandro Faurlín is also unavailable owing to the Argentinean awaiting international clearance, as was stipulated in the annnouncement of the deal.

Great news, (apart from cookies knee). Its so good to have Buzsaky, Rowlands, Vine and Agyemang back. If these boys stay fit and healthy for the whole season then our chances of promotion will increase considerably. Missed them last season.

I agree, as I've said not a great deal needs to change, in essence these players coming back will be like new additions. One or two strikers are still required though!

Hopefully Akos will be back to his best and we don't get any Prem teams in the cups. He's suffered both his long-term injuries for us while playing Chelscum and ManUre. Coincidence? So what's going to happen if and when we do get promoted? He'll be constantly injured!!
Guttermouth
agree strikers is what we need
