Queens Park Rangers boss Jim Magilton outlined the method of signing players and indicated that new faces are imminent.

Magilton was appointed to the helm at Loftus Road with reports suggesting that he has the majority of control over transfer deals and insisted on the title of manager rather than head coach.

He spoke to the BBC indicating the way deals are done at Loftus Road, with the move initially engineered by the boss and outlined to the board.

He said: 'We've lost a goalkeeper and obviously a left-back so we'll be trying in the next couple of weeks to bring a few new signings in.

'If a good player comes along we'll try and entice him to London and entice him to QPR and let's hope that happens.'

Asked if funds will be made available for new players, Magilton added: 'I'll go and identify a player, present it to the board and if the board say 'yes', wonderful, and we'll say 'A, B, C - one, two, three' whatever it takes to get good players into the club.'

With Rangers currently bolstered by two trialists it seems only a matter of time before new captures are announced.
