Dexter Blackstock is delighted to have joined Nottingham Forest in a deal which has been recently confirmed by the reds.

The striker penned a four year deal at the City Ground and told nottinghamforest.co.uk that he cannot wait to get started in an exciting season for Forest.

'I'm very happy to be back. It's nice to see the lads, the manager and the staff again and I can't wait to get back in the swing of things," he said.

'I enjoyed everything about my time with Forest last season. We were in the relegation zone and ended up surviving quite comfortably in the end and didn't lose in my time at the club.

'I was really happy with the way things went. I've had a taste of what this club is all about and now I want more.'

Blackstock links up with former QPR team mate Lee Camp at the City Ground, along with former Saints colleagues Arron Davies and David McGoldrick as Forest look to amount an assault on the playoffs.
