Queens Park Rangers have made the long-awaited official announcement that Alessandro Pellicori has indeed penned a deal in W12.

Interest in the player was revealed by Vital QPR in mid-July with the player himself confirming he had signed a contract with Queens Park Rangers just days later.

The Italian striker has penned a three-year deal at Loftus Road from struggling side Avellino, who have entered great financial difficulty in recent times.

He rejected a five-year contract with home-town club Cosenza to sign for QPR, keen to emphasise on signing the deal that money was not a factor.

The striker will wear the number 12 shirt as he looks to continue his impressive pre-season form into the new campaign.
