QPR Close In On Keeper
Queens Park Rangers are set to offer Andy Marshall a one-year deal according to reports.
The stopper has impressed boss Magilton during pre-season and with Cerny still sidelined owing to a bout of swine-flu, the R`s need to sure up their goalkeeping options for the opening day against Blackpool.
With Reece Crowther, Jake Cole and Lee Camp departing in the summer Rangers have been searching for a replacement stopper to rival Czech keeper Radek Cerny.
Compatriot Martin Lejsal came and went, while being refused a deal at Bristol City, while young Latvian Elvijs Putnins is seen as too inexperienced to take on the rigours of Championship football.
The BBC are reporting therefore that Marshall has done enough to secure a year`s deal at Loftus Road, presumably to warm the bench when first choice keeper Cerny returns for selection.
