Hoops Celebrated By Legends
Former QPR players will return to Loftus Road on Saturday to celebrate 50 consecutive years of wearing hoops.
Household names such as Ron Springett, Stan Bowles, Wayne Fereday and Trevor Sinclair along with Clive Allen and Marc Bircham will be in attendance on Saturday to cover every decade in which the R`s have sported their famous hoops.
The players will be paraded on the pitch at roughly 2:30pm prior to the Blackpool fixture on Saturday, with QPR supporters given a chance to see their heroes through the decades.
Similar to last year against Barnsley supporters will be treated to fireworks and Gulf Air will be represented once again with their flag ceremony as the players enter the field.
Here`s to hoping Rangers season gets off to the bang the fans have craved rather than yet another damp squib.
