Drew Garro aka 'DG' of the popular qprdot.org messageboard gives his opinions about the impending campaign to Vital QPR

How do you rate Rangers performance last season?

Typical Rangers. Flashes of promise, hopes raised and dashed. Chaos backstage reflected in uncertainty and unconvincing performances. Oh for a season not like that!

What was your stand out moment?

Coming back from 2-0 down against Wednesday. Brilliant.

How do you feel about the appointment of Jim Magilton?

Always the optimist, I'm prepared to say he will lead us to great things this season! I also have a lot of time and respect for Gareth and am really pleased he is still with the club.

Do you feel Rangers have strengthened adequately?

In the past few seasons we don't seem to have achieved the level of success that the combination of players available to us deserved. This has been the way with us for a while now, never quite maximising the potential. Much of this has been down to the instability caused by uncertainties in ownership and management which have weakened the heart of the club.

With the players we now have it mostly depends, I feel, on whether the manager is allowed to do his job and for long enough without interference or change.

Who will be the key player(s) for the R`s this season?

Angelo Balanta and Adel Taarabt.

Where do you expect the R`s to finish this season?

5th and then win the playoffs. :-)

Championship - Who will be…

Champions: Boro

Overachievers: Plymouth

Underachievers: Newcastle

Young Player to Watch: Angelo!

Top Goalscorer: Roman Bednar
