Faurlin On Road To Recovery

Vital QPR - Breaking News

Head Physio, Paul Hunter, has told QPRPlayer the news that, I am sure, all Rangers` fans have been wanting to hear - Alejandro Faurlin will be able to resume full training within the coming week.

Faurlin had a scan yesterday and the results were very encouraging:

"We`re very pleased,"Hunter admitted to QPRPlayer earlier today.

"It means Alejandro has been able to take part in light training today,"he added.

And the words we all wanted to hear? "We expect him to resume full training at some stage next week."

The Exeter cup tie may come too early for Faurlin but it is looking more promising for the young Argentinean and, perhaps he may yet have a part to play in our trip to Plymouth on Saturday week.

Lee Cook, of course, remains a long-term injury concern but otherwise the squad just announced for tomorrow`s home fixture against Blackpool is, in alphabetical order (!):

Gareth Ainsworth, Patrick Agyemang, Angelo Balanta, Gary Borrowdale, Akos Buzsaky, Radek Cerny, Matt Connolly, Hogan Ephraim, Kaspars Gorkss, Fitz Hall, Heidar Helguson, Gavin Mahon, Alessandro Pellicori, Elvijs Putnin, Peter Ramage, Wayne Routledge, Martin Rowlands, Damion Stewart, Adel Taarabt and Rowan Vine.

Nice to see.Wonder how much scouting was done at Ipswich cost and would he have been playing for them if Jimmy Mac was still there.
