Plymouth Argyle midfielder Luke Summerfield has been outlined by Vital QPR as the One To Watch ahead of tomorrow's clash.
The son of Argyle coach Kevin Summerfield, Luke has proven himself capable of stepping up to the Championship in recent years.
The young midfielder made his debut as a 17-year-old on the final game of the season at home to Leicester City, replacing David Worrell.
Another solitary appearance came the following season in the Carling Cup, where despite an Akos Buzsaky goal, the Pilgrims were knocked out by League Two Barnet.
With the budget being restricted at Home Park Summerfield managed to break into the first team set-up, making his first start at Colchester`s Layer Road. It proved to be a dream debut with the young midfielder drilling home an effort from distance to win the game.
He managed 26 appearances for the Pilgrims that season before being loaned out to League One side AFC Bournemouth, scoring one goal in eight appearances for the Cherries.
During his period with Bournemouth, he and Argyle team-mate Dan Gosling were called to Chelsea for a trial, and several media reports and manager Ian Holloway heaping plaudits on the young midfielder.
An offer from Chelsea was not forthcoming and he managed only ten appearances for the Greens, but he scored a third career goal in the final minute of Argyle`s home victory over Doncaster Rovers.
Despite limited opportunity Summerfield accepted a new deal at Home Park, and made 31 appearances in the 2008-09 season. He scored two goals in two victories over Watford and Southampton, while also starting the FA Cup clash at the Emirates Stadium against Arsenal.
The 21-year-old midfielder has started the season well scoring two goals in pre-season friendlies against Torquay United and Livingston. He has also got off the mark in the season proper with a consolation strike against Gillingham as the Pilgrims exited the Carling Cup.
