Man of the Match - Adel Taarabt

Queens Park Rangers fans have voted Tottenham loanee Adel Taarabt as Man of the Match against Accrington Stanley.

The Moroccan international took to the field at half time and had a lively 45 minutes against the League Two side which epitomises the disappointing nature of the first half display.

While Adel reverted to his direct running and limited distribution it paid dividends against a tiring Accrington rearguard as Rangers eventually got the goals required to progress.

The top three were as follows in descending order:

1. Adel Taarabt - 56%
2. Hogan Ephraim - 31%
3. Tom Heaton - 13%

Now we ask the following

How will Rangers fare against Scunthorpe United?

Without being too critical, the fact that a player who spends most of his time running down blind alleys, because he either can't see passes to team mates or doesn't trust team mates, being given MOTM says a lot about our side at the moment. The balance was awful and the honest truth was that we probably deserved to lose last night. The sooner JM gets a settled team the better. BTW, those that shout that's what pre-season is about, have obviously no idea of what managing a club is all about.

You're right QPR4Me, I think we should have done what Sunderland did last night, start with better players then bring them off when the job was done.

Sounds like the way to go. Get ahead then the pressure is off and you can bring on the support players.
