Reports - Watson Signs

Queens Park Rangers have landed the signature of Ben Watson according to media reports this evening

The Mirror is reporting that QPR have landed Ben Watson on loan until January as he has fallen out of favour under new boss Roberto Martinez.

The former Crystal Palace midfielder had been previously linked with a move to W12 before signing for Wigan Athletic in January.

He made the £2,000,000 move from the Eagles during the January transfer window, and despite making a positive impact under Steve Bruce has only made one appearance this season in the shock 4-1 defeat away at Blackpool in the Carling Cup.

The deal is due to be confirmed by the club tomorrow.

Would be an excellent signing for your lot if true. I suspect Wigan are letting him go to create room for the signing of Marvin Elliott tomorrow...
