Helguson - Three Month Loan?

Vital QPR - Breaking News

Reports today are linking Queens Park Rangers forward Heidar Helguson with a move to former club Watford.

The Watford Observer are claiming that the Hornets are lining up a three-month loan deal for the QPR striker following the loss of Tamas Priskin and Tommy Smith to Ipswich and Portsmouth respectively.

Helguson was linked during the transfer window but a deal didn`t come to fruition on deadline day.

While the newspaper believes the Hornets are interested in his capture, there are some way to go in negotiations to bring the forward back to Vicarage Road.

The 32-year-old striker joined QPR from Bolton Wanderers in January 2009 after a successful loan period at the club.

His goalscoring record since then has come under fire scoring only six goals in 24 appearances overall. His only goal so far this season came at Home Park in the 1-1 draw with Plymouth Argyle.

Personally I hope he gets some goals and confidence and comes back - still has a role to play for me.. others will argue against of course!

Agreed. He clearly has the ability to get into brilliant positions but his confidence seems to be low. Hope he does score a few at Watford and comes back with confidence.

I think it would do him good to get away from us for a few months and give himself a kickstart.

But if he does start doing well, I hope he does come back.
