R's Top Shots Column

Queens Park Rangers are back to the top of the shooting column at the top of the Championship following this weekend's draw with Peterborough.

Rangers' 19 attempts on goal this weekend, nine of which were on target, put them ahead of the pack with a total of 90 efforts on goal so far this season.

50 of these efforts have been target, which includes ten wayward strikes from this weekend. Rangers now sit top of the overall shooting table and the off target ratings, while sitting a disappointing joint seventh in the on target column.

As an aside the R's have hit the woodwork far more than anyone else this season, a staggering seven times in their opening six fixtures.

Rangers will be hoping to convert their chances to goals as they host a de-motivated Crystal Palace, following their 4-0 thumping at the hands of relegation fodder Scunthorpe United.

So? I'm sure we'd be happy with two shots and two goals. The report gives the impression that we attack the whole time creating loads of chances. Well let me tell you, it's not like that! More worryingly, what will happen when chances get fewer - no chance of scoring then!
