With Queens Park Rangers getting both midfielders sent off and banned this weekend who would be your partnership against Preston?

Skipper Martin Rowlands and loanee Ben Watson were both sent off by Mr Hill as the R's slipped to a 2-0 defeat at Paulo Sousa's Swansea City.

With both players now banned for the fixture against Preston North End, discussion now surrounds who should be the partnership at the heart of midfield.

Here are the options:

* Leigertwood/Faurlin
* Leigertwood/Mahon
* Leigertwood/Buzsaky
* Leigertwood/Taarabt
* Faurlín/Mahon
* Faurlín/Buzsaky
* Faurlín/Taarabt
* Mahon/Buzsaky
* Mahon/Taarabt
* Buzsaky/Taarabt

Man of the Match v Swansea

QPR fans voted Wayne Routledge in our most recent poll, despite the R's remaining goalless at the Liberty Stadium.

The R's winger was a constant menace to the Swans rearguard, and was relentless in his direct running an pressure despite the numerical disadvantage.

Routledge took the award with 35% of the votes, while substitute Adel Taarabt achieved 21% for his role coming from the bench.

I think you forgot Hogan
LeeCookFan
I did indeed - I think the ones I mentioned stand more of a chance. It's an option that he could explore, but with the sheer amount of attacking options in that role.. is it realistic?

hmm hogan he's worth it NOT get rid of him

Legs abd Buz, would bring Ramage back in as full back. OK he's not great getting forward, but he is a better full back than Legs who will be needed to do the running that Watson's and Rowly's collective stupidity will deny us. Buz, on the other hand will be able to play the killer pass from central midfield that we seem to be missing.
QPR4Me
That would mean bringing Ephraim in on the left. If people don't like that, then Faurlin would need to go central, but I prefer the chance to see Buz back in the middle of the park.
QPR4Me
I think Buzsaky is a better player in the middle, but does a good job for the team out-wide, and overall we are not over-reliant on one threat. As for Hogan, I think we have a star in the making, and I hope he is a QPR player for years to come. He's as talented as Routledge, just needs to find some consistency in his performances.
Boxer
To be fair, Mahon can be the general in midfield to cover the loss of Rowlands/Watson, he gets stuck in and bosses that area. Hence, I think, he and Buz would be a good shout, playing either Fauriln or Hogan down the left. I agree with Boxer about Hogan being a star in the making, but he's gonna need game time to flourish. Legs is doing well at right back, and in order for him to fully adapt to that position, he too is gonna need game time. I feel Taarabt would be too much of an attacking option, perhaps playing him would sacrifice some of the control we have in the middle, however this could also bring goals.
BicesterRanger
Hey BicesterRanger (I'm from Banbury, close-by!) With regards to Ledge I agree, we need to keep the defence consistent and I think we have the best back four at present that we could pick from the current squad.
