R's Chase Reading Winger?

Queens Park Rangers have reportedly rekindled their interest in Reading midfielder Jay Tabb.

The Coventry Telegraph are reporting that their former midfielder is on the verge of leaving the Madejski Stadium on an emergency loan deal.

In a quite a curt remark the newspaper links the midfielder with a move to Loftus Road:

"… another former favourite Tabb, who is seeking a loan move away from Reading, could be joining QPR."

While undoubtedly a talented player across midfield, the option is scarcely viable for Magilton who already has a plethora of options in this position.

With Lee Cook going well in his rehabilitation it would make little sense to introduce another selection headache for the R's boss.

25-year-old Tabb started out at Brentford before moving to Coventry City in 2006. After 95 appearances for the Sky Blues he signed for Reading in 2009 in a bid to bolster their promotion charge.

There has since been a change of management at the Madejski with Brendan Rodgers replacing the outgoing Steve Coppell.

Tabb has made five appearances this season but hasn't played since late August, with Reading scoring only two goals and losing three matches in that run of five.

Rangers were reportedly interested in Tabb before the start of the 2008-09 season when he was a Coventry City player.

Why another midfielder? Even with two mid fielders out for the next game Jimbo still has a dilemma of picking 4 midfielder from our million options.

I made that point too - don't understand the logic, think it's just lazy journalism to be honest.

Mmm, coz we need more midfield players! I think this is newspaper rubbish as it's a quiet time at the moment!

Seems so mate, he is a good player mind - Bit of hustle and bustle, without the quality of a Rowlands though I fancy.

Is five goals not enough in one game Ozanne? I say stick with the ones we have, they've proven themselves capable, lets have some consistency with our selection.
