6 RELEASED- MORE TO GO...

Following discussion with Gary Waddock six players have been released with more placed on the transfer list.

The players who are coming to the end of their contract and will not be offered a new one will be released when their deals expire in the summer. The six to leave are: Richard Langley, Georges Santos, Marcin Kus, Sammy Youssouf, Luke Townsend and Ryan Johnson.

8 more players have been placed on the transfer list. Marc Bircham will be joined by Marcus Bignot, Steve Lomas, Ian Evatt, Stefan Moore, Tommy Doherty, Matthew Hislop and Ugo Ukah.

Gary Waddock spoke to the official QPR website after the news was confirmed. He said: 'Undoubtedly this is the part of management that no one in charge of a football club ever wants to do.

'But these decisions have to be made for the sake of the club as a whole.

'After the summer, I want this to be a new era, not just a new season and I have to start planning for that now.

'I felt that those who I have released don't fit in with my plans for next season, but I would like to thank them for their efforts and hard work throughout their time at QPR.'

So that means were trying to keep Matthew Rose, Shabazz Baidoo, Mauro Milanese and Gareth Ainsworth. Squad could be down to Jones, Milanese, *Shittu, Gallen, Ainsworth, Royce, Cole, Rowlands, Cook, Shimmin, Bailey, Donnelly, Furlong, Nygaard and the youngsters. Surprised with Langley going but then he hasn't been in the team of late.

So were scrapping most the squad, we need to pay a big tax bill and were supposedly trying to bring in a much stronger squad for next season to challenge in the top 6?? No chance, where's the money to bring these players in?
markohaire
youve got to try and re build the team again, it obviously needs some work att the moment!
