Man of the Match - Adel Taarabt

Queens Park Rangers fans have voted for Adel Taarabt as man of the match in the sound thrashing of Preston North End.

The Tottenham Hotspur loanee got the ball rolling shortly after the ten minute mark, when he took down a clearance from Radek Cerny to coast past opposition players before unleashing a dipping, venomous effort into the top right hand corner.

Taarabt has been criticised in recent times for his lack of vision and teamwork, but on this occasion there were few complainants as he fired home a candidate for goal of the season.

The top three were as follows in descending order:

1. Adel Taarabt - 40%
2. Alejandro Faurlín - 24%
3. Ákos Buzsáky - 12%

No surprises really was there he was outstanding and only Faurlin as far as i can see could come close to him, but it was his day even if he didn't make the team of the week
