Midfielder Out For Two Games

Ben Watson will miss QPR's next two fixtures owing to his second red card in as many games for Rangers.

The Wigan Athletic loanee was once again harshly given his marching orders for a second bookable offence against Reading, as he against Swansea City prior to the international break.

His second yellow against the Royals was a decision befitting the official Andy Hall, for taking a free-kick before the pernickety official was ready.

As ever there are no grounds for appeal for two yellow cards despite the absurdity and lack of common sense implemented in the majority of the official's decisions.

Watson will miss televised fixtures against Derby County and Leicester City, on the BBC and Sky respectively.

Favourite to replace him is Gavin Mahon, who himself has become rejuvenated in recent times under Jim Magilton.

The R's stand-in skipper has impressed in the middle of the park alongside Alejandro Faurlín, playing his role in two four goal hauls at home.

Mikele Leigertwood is currently sidelined with a virus and there is no indication that he will be available for the Derby game this weekend.

Who do you think should replace Watson?
