Jim Magilton has issued a rallying cry to supporters ahead of this weekend's clash with Derby County.

The R's boss has presided over a trio of home triumphs in succession, sandwiching an unfortunate defeat away at Swansea, that pointed more to ill-discipline than a poor display.

When assessing the crowd in recent home fixtures, Magilton told QPR.co.uk that he hopes supporters can make plenty of noise at Pride Park this weekend.

'The fans have been great,' said the R's boss.

'The atmosphere over the last few weeks has been second to none, but we'll need the fans more than ever this weekend.

'Pride Park is a bit of a hot-bed, so we'll need the R's faithful in full voice.

'They were there in their thousands at Chelsea and Newcastle, and their backing for the lads was outstanding.

'We've enjoyed a good run of form, and we want that to continue.'

Rangers have been defeated only twice this season as they sit on the periphery on the playoffs having discovered a fine resurgence in form.

The R's aren't expected to bring in excess of 1,000 this weekend at Pride Park, something which owes much to the game being televised on the BBC.

I reckon you'll get a result at Pride Park!

Hopefully we carry on our resurgence in front of the TV cameras. Remember the old days when we knew for absolute certain that we'd lose whenever on Sky??
