Jim Magilton was pleased with his Queens Park Rangers side following the home draw with Crystal Palace last night.
Ákos Buzsáky opened the scoring inside 20 minutes from the penalty spot after Adel Taarabt was felled in the area.
Darren Ambrose equalised for the Eagles in the second half, again from the spot after Fitz Hall hauled down substitute Freddie Sears.
Despite being held at home Jim Magilton was delighted with his charges, and the amount of chances they created during the game.
'We created plenty of chances,' Jim told QPR.co.uk
'You always worry when you're only one nil up and not taking the many chances that come your way, and tonight their goalkeeper has kept them in it.
'There were plenty of positives on the night, but maybe we need to be a bit more ruthless and determined at times. I can't really fault them though.'
Magilton believed that the display was positive and a step in the right direction as Rangers climbed into a playoff place - something they'll look to retain this weekend.
The amount of chances that the R's created delighted Magilton against what he described as a physical side in Crystal Palace.
He said: 'We've had a string of games where we've made and taken plenty of chances. Tonight we made loads again, but didn't take them.
'But that doesn't worry me. I'll be worried when we're not creating at all!'
Rangers now travel to Hillsborough to face Sheffield Wednesday in a bid to retain their playoff position.
Wednesday will have had a few more days to rest following their 1-1 draw away at Bristol City, helping to dispel their televised humbling at Watford.
