Tommy Williams Pens Loan Deal

Queens Park Rangers have re-signed full back Tommy Williams on an emergency loan deal.

The defender has penned a one month loan deal at Loftus Road, which will be his third spell in W12 after two spells in 2002 and 2003 while a Birmingham City player.

Williams made 34 appearances for Rangers over the two spells scoring a solitary goal in a thumping home win over Huddersfield.

He shot to fame among QPR fans for not squaring the ball to Paul Furlong in the playoff final, despite playing relatively well for the duration of his loan.

Fans have enjoyed singing this to Tommy, and he has managed to get his own back by providing two assists against Rangers at Loftus Road in his last two visits.

His loan lasts until the January transfer window, and he will be looking to sufficiently impress the R's boss Jim Magilton with his contract up in the summer.

Gary Borrowdale was struck down with illness at the weekend and the lack of cover at full-back was made apparent with Peter Ramage having to take up the role.

Vital QPR wishes Tommy the best of luck on his return!

Vital QPR may wish him luck on his return but I certainly don't

How come guttermouth? Any player in a QPR shirt, that wants to play for the club has my vote!
Boxer
Come on Boxer, you don't really think he wants to play for the Club do you? We're just paying his wages as far as he's concerned. Fair enough from his point of view but we shouldn't be disallusioned that he's playing for 'us'.
Guttermouth
That could be said of any player though?
