Flavio Briatore will next month contest his life-time ban from Formula One, and has been joined by former Renault team-mate Pat Symonds.
The pair were ousted from Renault prior to the 'Crashgate' court case that saw Briatore indefinitely banned from the sport, with his position at QPR also under threat.
The Italian has now sought to clear his name by calling for an annulment to the banning order, in which he has been joined by Symonds, and requesting for £900,000 in damages according to the Guardian.
Briatore calls the process conducted by the FIA and headed by Max Moseley: 'clearly blinded by an excessive desire for personal revenge'
The FIA ordered that its members, race organisers, teams or drivers were not to have any dealings with the 58-year-old, and Briatore has fought the process by which the decision came about.
The Football League has subsequently deferred their decision on the Italian owner until after the appeal against the FIA decision has been heard.
The case will be heard the Tribunal de Grande Instance, France's high court on 24 November.
