Tom Heaton joins Rochdale

The Manchester United goalkeeper has joined Rochdale last friday and his loan will last until the end of the year. The young goalkeeper's desire to play first team football is quite apparent when you consider he joined the League Two side the day after he left QPR rather than be a fourth choice at Old Trafford.

Heaton had a short spell at Loftus road with his appearances limited to the Carling Cup. Although he had limited opportunities, he did impress winning over both the fans and the manager. Magilton has stated that he will be looking to bring Heaton back to QPR once the January transfer window is open.

VitalQPR wishes Heaton all the best for his spell at Rochdale and hope to see him back at Loftus Road.

Nice one LCF, conceded three goals today. I doubt they were his fault having seen the Dale defence recently!
