Alejandro Agag has departed his role at Queens Park Rangers today (Tuesday)
Agag will be replaced as Managing Director of Queens Park Rangers by Ishan Saksena, with Ali Russell continuing in his role as Deputy MD.
The 39-year-old Spaniard leaves his role at QPR to focus on other business interests but will remain on the board.
A statement on behalf of Flavio Briatore and Amit Bhatia reads:
"On behalf of the Board members of QPR, we would like to inform our supporters that Mr. Alejandro Agag has decided to step down from his position as Managing Director of QPR in order to dedicate more time to his core business activities. Mr. Agag will remain as a member of the Board.
"Effective immediately, Mr. Ishan Saksena will replace Mr. Agag on a full-time basis.
"We would like to thank Mr. Agag for his services at QPR and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours.
"We would also like to welcome Mr. Saksena as the new Managing Director of QPR.
"The Club will be making no further comment."
