1m + Simpson = Sterling For Arsenal?

Jay Simpson is reportedly being used as a makeweight to take Queens Park Rangers youngster Raheem Sterling to Arsenal.

The R's striker who has bagged eight goals for Rangers this season, has impressed during his spell at Loftus Road.

Sterling meanwhile has been attracting attention of England's elite including Liverpool, the Gunners and both halves of Manchester.

Fulham's surprise attempt to snatch the youngster with a cash bid has sparked a bidding war and Arsenal would appear front-runners if this bid is to be believed.

While it is disappointing to lose young talent, when a player of Simpson's calibre becomes available it soon becomes difficult to ignore.
