West Brom supporter Neil Clarke shares his views about the buoyant Baggies with Vital QPR.

The Baggies currently sit second in the Championship, and with a plethora of attacking talent at their disposal, one supporter is confident of a result this evening.

After a brief spell in the top flight, it's back to Championship football - what did you make of last season's performance?

Well considering that we were relegated it was not the best, however it was nice to see us playing nice football and sticking to it even against the big teams unlike other teams who just play ugly football.

Though I suppose football is all about results and despite our little surge towards the end positive results were few and far between.

Tony Mowbray was replaced by Roberto di Matteo - what were your feelings at the times, and has the job the Italian has done changed your views?

I was not happy to see Tony go as he brought such classy football to the Hawthorns however you couldn't really blame him - the offer of European football does not come around every day.

I was unsure of Di Matteo's appointment as he is a young manager who has not managed at this level before. However so far I am very pleased we are performing well and are second in the table

What do you make of Albion's style of play under the Italian?

Di Matteo has kept the ethics that Mowbray instilled at the club we still play are nice football however we are now able to change are style of play.

When the situation calls we now seem to be able to play more direct however we still play the free flowing football the majority of the time.

How does the current side compare to Mowbray's promoted outfit a couple of seasons ago?

When Mowbray left there was a fear that he may take a few of our better players with him however only fortune left so Di Matteo has inherited a very similar squad.

Saying this though he has still made some of his own additions the best being Jara.

The signing has given are midfield some balance as he is more defensively minded allowing are attacking plays more freedom.

The Baggies have been in sporadic form at home - to what do you attribute this statistic?

Its difficult some teams we beat by four or five then other games that you expect us to win we lose.

The baggies need to find some consistency at home and I don't think there is one reason for this; though sometimes it seems that we don't give the opposition enough respect.

Former R's loanee Jerome Thomas has been in fine form for Albion this season, what have you made of his performances?

So far he has been a great player; very creative, always looks dangerous as well as getting himself on the score sheet a few times. Though like the rest of the team his form is inconsistent.

It seems that it's all change at Loftus Road once again - from the outside, what is your view on the current situation in W12?

Seems that you're unable to keep a manager for longer then a few months. I have no idea what's going on within the board but it seems if they want the R's to progress they need to stick with one manager.

Is there any player that Rs fans should look out for?

Unfortunately for the Loftus Road faithful there are many - Chris Brunt is always a threat with his sweet left foot but at the moment Dorrans is in inspired form running the midfield and creating openings with his pinpoint passing.

Simon Cox who initially found it hard to adapt has hit form as is a constant threat up front.

Conversely is there any QPR player that could give you problems?

Wayne Routledge seems to be in good form at the moment and I worry about his pace against Mattock. Taarabt also seems to be a very good player very tricky and creative in the midfield.

How do you think the game will pan out - and whats your predictions?

After our loss against Cardiff we need a win.

I think we will come flying out the blocks and the R's will find themselves under a lot of pressure and I'm pleased to say I don't think your defence will hold out.

I think the Baggies will be in top form and we will win by 2 or 3 goals.

Many thanks to Neil - and best of luck to West Brom beyond this evening
