Vital QPR takes a look at the Rangers players plying their trade away from Loftus Road

With fixtures around the country decimated, including three in the Coca Cola Championship, Watford's clash with Peterborough went ahead, with the hosts desperate for points to pull away from the drop zone.

Heidar Helguson started for the visitors at London Road as they looked to continue their assault on the playoff places - putting their financial problems behind them for the weekend at least.

It didn't start well for the Hornets as Peterborough midfielder Lee Frecklington handed them the advantage inside ten minutes.

Watford equalised after half time courtesy of former Stoke City midfielder John Eustace, and with the game seemingly petering out it appeared the visitors may be good for a point.

But the Posh made their greater possession count with a goal on 78 minutes as Exodus Geohaghon struck for the hosts to give them hope in their fight for survival.

Meanwhile Leeds United hosted Southampton, in what was a Premier League clash only a few years ago and it took until the 77th minute for the deadlock to be broken at Elland Road.

Robert Snodgrass' late goal helped cement the Whites' position at the top of the table, while Hogan Ephraim remained an unused substitute despite his display in the Johnstones Paint Trophy.

As previously mentioned however many fixtures fell foul to the whether, none more so than at Raymond McEnhill where Salisbury's clash with Tamworth was called off due to snow.

So no chance to feature for duo Joe Oastler and Lee Brown as their loan spell prepares to come to an end with troubled Salisbury.
