R's Defender Blow

Damion Stewart will miss Queens Park Rangers' clash with Bristol City owing to suspension.

The R's defender picked up his fifth booking in the draw at home to Sheffield United, and there was little argument as he wiped out the pacey front-man Jamie Ward on the break.

The big Jamaican has given some much needed stability to the back four since his return to the side - notably against West Bromwich Albion and the Blades.

It seems that Latvian Kaspars Gorkšs has thrived on their rekindled partnership, but will now have to couple with either Fitz Hall or Matthew Connolly, with the latter set for a return to the squad.
