Paul Hart is rumoured to be closing in on his first signing as Queens Park Rangers boss according to reports today.

The Mirror is reporting today that Swedish defender Markus Jonsson is in Hart's sight-lines after he stated his intention to play in England.

The 28-year-old Swedish international can play either full-back or centre back and Rangers reportedly face competition from West Bromwich Albion and Preston North End.

The defender also takes penalties and has never missed in his professional career thus far - proving particularly successful for current club AIK.
