Hart Wants Additions

Queens Park Rangers boss Paul Hart wants to add some fresh faces to his squad he revealed yesterday.

Speaking to QPR.co.uk after the draw with Sheffield United, the R's boss divulged that he has a few irons in the fire.

'We're hoping to do some business,' he said.

'I've only been here a short time, three weeks or so, but hopefully we can bring in a couple of players to add to the squad.'

Evidently not much he has seen thus far has given him the same faith as Jim Magilton in the current set-up as he looks to bring in his own players.

Several names such as Amdy Faye, Michael Brown and Dave Kitson have been mentioned, but any deals have yet to come to fruition.

Replacements will be required as some of the R's fringe players look certain to be offloaded during the January window.

I am disappointed that some of you think this is a bad appointment. Hart is a good manager, his time at portsmouth was littered with changes of owners, lack of payment of wages to players, selling players from under his nose. At QPR he will thrive if he gets the backing from the board. He has a good eye for a player and will get your team going.

I am still open buzz - undecided either way. I am more angry with our supporters for giving him the short shrift already.
