The record buy makes me laugh a little.

Our record buy is Steve MacLean (again that is probably laughable) @ £500k. The Walton deal had quite a few add ons and will total £750k based on apperances etc (its rumoured that we've paid less than £200k so far).

I would hope so for your sake. In the same way that some would say Faurlín is our record purchase, maybe he is maybe he isn't - you can't really tell with football these days, nothing is cut and dry. I say Faurlín is, in the same way that Walton is for you - you have committed to spend that amount of money in the deal and that makes it the record.

Lap of Onuoha

A NEDUM Onuoha strike early in the second half saw Queens Park Rangers edge out Wigan Athletic in a fairly nondescript affair at the DW Stadium.

A game that never really got going was settled early in the second period when the Latics failed to clear a set-piece and the QPR skipper powered home from just inside the area.

Both sides created half chances but never really got out of first gear - with Grant Hall in particular a rock throughout to snuff out an endless array of Luke Garb
