Lee Cook will make his first appearance in a Queens Park Rangers shirt in six months as the R's take on Luton Town later today.
In a fixture designed primarily to help Cook to match fitness, the R's wide-man will feature in a behind closed doors friendly against manager Mick Harford's former club - Luton Town.
Cook has spent the summer working on a troublesome knee injury that required key-hole surgery, having played the majority of last season unknowingly carrying the complaint.
The self-professed QPR fan told the Ealing Gazette that he is looking forward to building his confidence and his match fitness in the clash.
"It will be nice to get a game in and to get in a few tackles again to build up the confidence,' he said.
"It's been great getting back with the lads and I'm starting to get right back into it."
Cook hasn't played for Rangers since the bore draw with Plymouth Argyle on the final home game of the 2008-09 season.
