Striker Departs

PATRICK Agyemang has today departed Queens Park Rangers for fellow Championship side Bristol City.

The forward who has scores three goals this season has penned a season long loan deal at Ashton Gate.

Agyemang joined the R's from Preston North End and flourished under the guidance of Luigi De Canio, bagging a staggering eight goal in six games - including a brace against the Robins.

He featured in Rangers' 1-0 defeat earlier this season, proving unsuccessful in his role as a lone striker in a tepid first period.

Agyemang's exit is set to raise as many questions as it answers, with supporters keen to know who his replacement will be - the attacking force already threadbare in W12.

Rumours have intensified that Dave Kitson is a key candidate on loan from Stoke City, but Rangers will have to make up his wages by offloading.

So how many striking options do we have at the Club now??
Guttermouth
Why, why, why, why, WHY? And to another Championship club to boot! Daft & stupid - he may not have been the business for us in terms of goals scored but he was a striking option and a good asset to have in the squad. Cant understand this decision :-(
sandydl
well he needed to go. but not before someone better came in!

There are rumours that we HAVE to offload if we're to get Kitson - that's up to five players apparently. Rumoured that two will be the Italian pair. I'm wary of the fact that we'll be throwing everything at Kitson, and if he doesn't fancy it, we're up a creek without a paddle!

So wot's happened with the Cousin deal then? That dead in the water now? And wot about that kid Jackson we were rumoured to be definitely getting . . .!!
sandydl
sandydl QPR Italia reckon that Cousin thinks he can still do it in the Premier League! I reckon we are better off without him, he isn't up to a proper job! He can warm a bench somewhere else!
