Hall In Demand

Clubs are rumoured to be lining up bids for Queens Park Rangers' out of favour defender Fitz Hall.

The reputed clubs are Premier League strugglers Burnley - as if their plight was desperate enough already! - and Newcastle United, who have already taken Wayne Routledge from Rangers this week.

A potential deal could come in at around £750,000 according to The Mirror which would be an incredible price given his recent record at Loftus Road.

Hall is currently fourth choice central defender at Rangers with Matt Connolly, Kaspars Gorkss and Damion Stewart ahead of the former Crystal Palace and Wigan Athletic man.

The defender is rumoured to be one of Rangers biggest earners, and offloading him could prove beneficial if there is to be a late influx of players before the window shuts.

That would be a fantastic deal for us! Please sign for Newcastle, those goals he could give us on the final day could mean something!

The big worry is it doesn't seem we're getting anyone. At least One Size is better than no-one, well only just!

Oh I dunno, we've got the apparently impressive Joe Oastler back at the Club now, so maybe give him a go
Guttermouth
Was going to mention that, Oastler looked good pre-season and reports suggest he did well at Salisbury as well.

i am a firm believer in who wants to be at the club can stay, unless its money that we as a team can benefit. Its the players like cook we need to treasure. Who cares if wayne has gone, he is twenty-three and is now on his eighth club: he cant be that good! If they dont want to play, get rid of them, no one man is bigger than the club. I would easily welcome back a fit cook in place of routledge. Cook is consistent ... Routledge can beat players all day long but can he thread a defence? can he put in a quality cross? the answer: no. maybe he can get a throw in or a corner once in a while. It is to my belief that wayne routledge was the reason Blackstock went! they tried so hard to get routledge that when he didnt produce for blackstocks areial abilty it was the striker who went. And as for Hall ... who is he neway?????
