R's Hand Trial To Midfielder

Queens Park Rangers have handed a trial to a Hungarian midfielder according to reports this evening.

Midfielder Peter Takacs has been allowed to travel to West London from Diosgyor according to Sky Sports.

He is reportedly due to train with the R's next week in a bid to impress boss Mick Harford and earn himself a permanent deal.

The 20-year-old would join fellow Hungarian Ákos Buzsáky on the books at Rangers if successful, with Rangers reputed to be chasing compatriot Tamás Priskin from Ipswich Town.

So is he out of contract? How does it fit with the transfer window? Do we have to make a decision by 5pm on Monday? Why haven't we signed a striker? How can I be expected to carry on like this???

If he is allowed to go on a free then transfer window doesn't matter - if we're paying then it does. With regards to strikers, things are happening behind the scenes, whether they come to fruition we'll have to see.
