Cook - We Have The Quality
Rangers returning winger Lee Cook believes that his side have enough in their locker to see off Peterborough this weekend.
Cook made his long-awaited come-back in the defeat against Scunthorpe United at the weekend, and despite the poor result the winger looked in fine form for the final ten minutes.
Going into this weekend's clash Cook believes that despite the new manager syndrome possibly in evidence at London Road - Rangers can get the better of Peterborough United.
On Posh appointing Jim Gannon prior to the clash Cook said: 'It sums up our luck really doesn't it.
'They'll all be going that extra yard to impress their new gaffer, but we still believe we have the quality to go there and get a result.
'We did okay against Scunthorpe and definitely deserved to get something from the game, so we'll head their in determined mood.'
A brief cameo was all that the R's fans got from the returning winger last weekend, but Cook himself has had no repercussions from his appearance and hopes to start this weekend.
'That would be the next step for me,' Cook added to QPR.co.uk
'I'm keen to start matches as soon as possible, but ultimately that decision rests with Mick (Harford) and the medical department.
'However, I feel as though I'm ready, so we'll just have to wait and see.'
Cook had been out since the end of last season after having surgery on a troublesome knee injury in the summer, but can now look forward to an extended run in the team following his return.
