Rumour Of The Day

Various sites are reporting that QPR is looking to appoint Neil Warnock as their new manager.

The colourful Crystal Palace manager was apparently courted for the QPR role a few years ago.

Warnock, 61, had a 12 year playing career for 8 clubs spanning 12 years between 1967 and 1979 and has managed 11 different clubs.

During his managerial career, Warnock has achieved 6 promotions with various clubs and 2 relegations, as well as final appearances in cup competitions.

Warnock is also a qualified referee, which may explain some of his outbursts!

Personally I like it - quality manager at this level and knows how to spend money properly. HOWEVER I think the only reason he would come is to work with GP (they are friends), so if he was going I don't think we'd get NW.

Hate him as a person but I would love him as our manager. Seriously doubt he will come though.

Yeah, I'ld be happy to have him at Loftus rd. Reckon he would do an excellent job for us.
