Mick Backs Warnock

Queens Park Rangers boss Mick Harford says he will be happy to work with Neil Warnock should he be appointed as R's boss.

Harford managed to secure his first R's victory of his present spell against Doncaster Rovers this weekend - but speculation persists over his future.

Flavio Briatore has sold the majority of his shareholding to the Mittal Family, and Neil Warnock remains the number one choice of the new owners.

Speaking to the Daily Mail Harford recognised and accepted that hot-seat may not be his for long, and he would be happy to work with Warnock.

'I've never had any dealings with Neil Warnock and I don't know him. I know he's a very good manager and got a great record.

'If he is the right man for the job and he was coming here then I would back him and work with him.'

Warnock has remained tight-lipped on his future at Crystal Palace, and it appears that the decision now lies with the Palace boss.

Rangers have already lined up a potential replacement in Iain Dowie, as they have given Neil Warnock a midweek deadline by which to accept terms.
