Liverpool Capture QPR Starlet

Raheem Sterling has today left Queens Park Rangers and has signed for Premier League side Liverpool

The youngster that has impressed at Under 18 and reserve level has finally put pen to paper on a deal to leave Loftus Road after months of speculation.

Only a couple of days ago Manchester United were said to be front-runners for the 15-year-old wonder-kid, but today Liverpool managed to secure his services.

He was in fact a guest of honour at Anfield the last time the two sides met, with QPR and the Reds able to come an agreement over a fee.

Sterling's desire to leave and play for an academy prompted the deal according to Steve Gallen, as he bids fairwell to W12.
