Dowie And Flowers Take Hull Helm

Former QPR boss Iain Dowie has once again linked up with Tim Flowers as they look to keep Hull City in the Premier League

Dowie and Flowers have signed a short-term deal at the KC Stadium and will be joined by coach Steve Wigley.

Hull earlier this week put manager Phil Brown on gardening leave, and with names such as Curbishley and Hughes being linked it has now been announced that Dowie will attempt to lead the Tigers to safety.

The former QPR boss was re-linked with the Rangers hot-seat prior to Neil Warnock taking on the task, but now has Premier League football as his reward, for the time being.

I wish him nothing but success with Hull and hope his time there lasts longer than his last spell with the Superhoops.
