QPR Stay Up

Queens Park Rangers have had their Championship status secured for next season by virtue of the result in the Sheffield derby.

With Sheffield Wednesday being held at home by rivals Sheffield United it means that the R's are now mathematically safe.

With Crystal Palace facing the Owls on the final day - it ensures that BOTH clubs cannot accumulate the required to leap-frog QPR.

Neil Warnock will now officially be taking charge of QPR as a Championship club next campaign, and there could be a radically changed line-up for the Watford game on Tuesday night.

Sometimes the fixture list throws up unexpected life-lines ... like this one! And now for a loan-player-free end to the season - yayyyyy :-)

As I've just said on 606 I do feel a little flat. It would have been nice to stay up by getting the result we needed yesterday or by thrashing Watford on Tuesday. This feels like we've been handed a repreive rather than earning one.

I'll take the reprieve, staineshoops, and then put Watford to the sword on Tuesday - coz we're so much more relaxed!!!!
