QPR Add Further Friendlies

The pre-season picture is starting to come together as Neil Warnock takes his side to Cornwall for their initial first-team friendlies.

QPR will firstly face Tavistock AFC of the South West Peninsula League - Levels 10 and 11 in the footballing pyramid.

They travel to Langsford Park on Monday 12th July with a kick off time of 7.00pm, this is before they face their next test two days later.

The R's face Bodmin Town - a side that narrowly missed out on their third South West Peninsula League title in succession on goal difference - on Wednesday 14 July.

As previously announced Rangers arranged a fixture with Torquay United and Rangers will face the Gulls on Friday July 16 at 7.30pm.

The final day of the billed 'Cornwall tour' is at Crawley Town on Thursday July 29 - with a 7.30 kick off.

Tavistock AFC v QPR - Monday 12 July 2010 - 7.00pm

Bodmin Town v QPR - Wednesday 14 July 2010 - 7.30pm

Torquay United v QPR - Friday 16 July 2010 - 7.30pm

Crawley Town v QPR - Thursday 29 July - 7.45pm

Rangers are expected to announce a couple more friendlies in the build up to the new NPower Championship Season.

Why do you say that? These are pre-season friendlies, work outs in terms of fitness especially in the early stages. I'd rather they be prepared for the campaign than get walloped by so-called big names.

And then there's the trip to Italy, which Warnock told me about, followed by the final game at home against a top London club - what more do you want?

yes sandydl but I suppose its ok but i would reather have teams like gillingham rather than a non leauge club

I would rather substance that built us up to the new season, rather than a name that would send its players to stroll round the pitch and not give us a game.
