QPR Sign Plymouth Forward

PLYMOUTH Argyle forward Jamie Mackie has made a long-awaited moved to Loftus Road following weeks of speculation.

The former Exeter City and MK Dons forward has signed a four-year deal in W12, and plies his trade both up front and wide in midfield.

The 24-year-old finished as Plymouth Argyle's top scorer last season with nine goals, as the Pilgrims slumped to relegation under Paul Mariner.

He follows in the footsteps of Ákos Buzsáky who also moved from Home Park to West London in 2007, and he will link up with the squad in July after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.

personally I agree with you super but we seem to be the only ones. Hopefully he will do a job for us but i disagree with giving him such a long contract. Haven't we learnt after hall and agyemang?

I agree scotland I think that now he has good players around him he could score quiet a few and could really be quality at this level but signing him on a 4 year deals that basically saying we are happy where we are because there is no way he is going to be good enough for the prem but hope I am proved wrong!
