Dowie Favourite For Pompey Post

Former Queens Park Rangers manager Iain Dowie is set to join newly-relegated Portsmouth following the summer shake-up at Fratton Park.

With Avram Grant poised to move to West Ham United following the departure of Gianfranco Zola, a vacant role will require filling at the newly-relegated south coast club.

Step forward Iain Dowie - fresh from failing in his bid to keep Hull City in the Premier League - it seems the bookmakers make him the favourite to land the job.

SkyBet have made Iain Dowie early 5/1 favourites for the role, with the former QPR man poised to manage in the Championship next season.

We are in enough trouble & we don't need or want him. I'd rather we have Neil Warnock.
